BUSTED LIP

Aves had her first busted lip. (the picture doesn't do it justice.) I had driven to Arlington on Thursday to get my hair done. Aves was perfect the whole time. She was sitting in one of the chairs and as we are getting ready to leave her foot get stuck and her face hit the floor. She had a little bump on her forehead but she was more concerned about the blood from her lip. I was so scared she hit her tooth too. Nothing a blue sucker couldn't fix to make her blue lip. The sweetest thang, after we left she said, mom I'm so sorry, it was an accident. I guess she thought I was upset with her. Love my sweet sweet girl.
Well the weekend only got worse. We headed to Tyler on Friday and by Saturday Aves nose was running like a faucet. So we took her to a clinic and sure enough another ear infection. So round 2 of tubes is schedule for May 14. I'm not looking forward to the day of surgery but I want her out of pain. Please keep her in your prayers that all goes well.

NEW SCHOOL

Aves and I went and visited her new school today that she will start at in the Fall. I loved Pantego Christian Academy in Arlington and decided to keep her in a Christian based private school so we decided on Crossings Christian. On her way there which is just down the street from where we live, she asked if Mrs. Walsh (former teacher) and Evelyn (girl in class) would be there. I had to explain that she would have new teachers and make new friends at her new school. She misses everyone so much but I know she will meet new friends and love it here too.
She was a little unsure at first but the teachers made her feel right at home. She was included in on their snack time and got to play outside on the playground. I really love that they have computer time with the 3 year olds since Aves is all about getting on ours as well as storm room. I know she will be in a safe place. I’m looking forward to what lies ahead with her new school.

MOVED

We have moved! I can say my first week in Oklahoma hasn't been so bad. Just a lot of unpacking and getting our house together. I promise to update with pictures soon. Prayers are needed that Aves continues to adjust to the move. There has been several mornings she has asked to go play with friends back in Arlington, just breaks my heart. I know we will meet some great friends here in time. Missing everyone back home! Xoxo
